St. Petersburg Questions

What makes St. Pete the "island city"?
A ring of barrier islands — Fort De Soto, Shell Key, and more — sits between the bay and the Gulf, giving one departure point protected water, wild beaches, and open-Gulf access all at once.
Can we land on the islands?
Yes — island hopping and shelling cruises include stops at boat-only beaches like Shell Key, where the sand stays wild because cars can’t reach it.
What do St. Pete cruises cost?
Dolphin, sunset, shelling and island-hopping cruises are $600 per group (up to 6 guests, extra hours $100/hr). Snorkeling & scuba runs $250/person (1–4 guests) or $200/person (5–6). Fishing charters are custom-quoted. Book at aowefl.com/booking.
Is it kid-friendly?
Yes — ages 5 and up sail with us. Child-sized life jackets are provided, Gulf vessels are much quieter than airboats, and dolphin cruises are universally loved by kids.
When should I book?
Tours run by reservation, 7 days a week. Weekends and sunset slots fill first — book a few days ahead, or call/text 352-587-3422 for same-day availability.
